My kids each have their own small version and I have two just the ones on the left (top and bottom) myself. I also buy these for gifts constantly. We love our market baskets!

I've made The Pioneer Woman's yogurt marmalade cake in a loaf pan and substituted in white whole wheat flour and butter. They both worked fabulously.

We've made this several times now, with local, artisan goat cheese. I have to say, I prefer fresh rosemary to the basil but it's definitely a personal choice.

I love these! These would also look fantastic in a waldorf-type classroom.

My husband purchased an enamel cast iron dutch oven for me from Homegoods as a surprise, which I must admit was a fantastic present. The only problem: the handle is plastic!

I made a provencal style beef braise so I unscrewed the lid from the actual pot (it was held in place by an ordinary screw) but it was a pain to get the rocket hot lid on and off to check on the meat. Any suggestions for making a plastic handle oven safe or a replacement? Other than this minor snafu, it really works wonderfully, especially since I've grown to hate our slow cooker.

Hmmm...I'm going to go with cadbury eggs.

When we were in Scotland a few years back I was totally geeked at the fact that a McDonald's had a cadbury egg flurry. It was yummy.

Um, we don't use toilet paper, we use family wipes. The same as cloth diapers but for the family. When I'm not pregnant, I use cloth menstrual care as well. We wash our wipes the same as our diapers with a specific sanitizing cycle using tea tree oil and cider vinegar. Most people don't realize that toilet paper just doesn't dissolve--it's skimmed off the top at the water treatment plant and dumped into landfills--although I have heard of alternative uses for it. But still, yuck.

We do have 7th Generation toilet paper in the house for guests.

As far as the no impact goes, I would like to think that my son has had a minimal impact so far. And his father and I have done almost everything we can within our means to lessen ours as well--although there is always room for improvement.

I just tried this out for my afternoon snack and it was very good. I added cucumber (leftover from my CSA basket) and used whole wheat penne. I didn't have as many olives as I would have liked but since I feel So Very Pregnant I was quite generous with some fresh parmesan. Ahem.

Very yummy.
