As for people like Giada and Brown, I am guessing that for dramatic purposes, the producers asked them to be a little more heavy handed than they might otherwise be. Bobby Flay was no puppy dog either. Remember when he pressed Jag to tell him what was 'Caribbean' about the soup he made for the Iron Chef competition?

Remember, reality shows are not as 'realistic' as they make them out to be so I would caution passing judgment on any of the people involved based on this particular show.

The Next Food Network Star: Amy vs. Rory

Was it just me or did Rory come off looking like a bit of a sore loser? She didn't smile when the results were announced, not even pretending to be happy for Amy and the rest of the time stood there with her back to the camera.

I think Amy has the potential to do well. As a male, I'm interested in seeing a female talent on Food Network that is less boisterous than RR and Paula Deen, but not so wooden like Sandra Lee. Plus, it will be interesting to see her take on French cuisine.

As far as I am concerned, somebody that appears on more than one reality show, is a reality show professional and that's a big reason why I didn't vote for Rory.
