my aunt uses it to steam mussels/clams :) she also adds other ingredients like fish sauce and chili sauce but the coconut water then acts like a 'broth'

love how you did this, the bed is still pretty hidden, everything looks chic and in place. i'm in austin too, currently live in a 1200 sq ft place, considering a 500 sq ft place and this place makes me feel like i can do it :)

i love the open space, it's not for me, but i did a modern homes tour and saw a few like this where there weren't any doors anywhere! people are complaining about the seating but i've sat on some uncomfortable looking chairs that turned out to be amazingly comfortable. i think for what the owner wanted to achieve it works. modern. also, iffff i had a bed that was that big and looked that comfy and a tv that could swivel 360 degrees, i wouldn't NEED a couch now would i?

funny, the 4th photo elicited no reaction from me, no chuckles or anything else but the comments sure did! and..i dun see any man in a tutu or any ducks..

i'm living in a 1200 sq ft place and to some that's not big..but 800 sounds small to me!

i can't believe how rude some of you are..would you say any of these things to someone in person? REAL people live here. they are sharing themselves by opening up their personal lives and their homes to complete strangers to critique on the internet. so SERIOUSLY?

what? i really like this apartment! i love the bathroom shower curtains.

i like that each part of the house (like the living and bedroom) are different. i think there are lots of visually appealing things in the living room that keep your eye interested but not sure if the furniture in the living room works for me, the big pieces make the space look smaller or maybe it's just the angles of the picture

yah, remember he makes his own bread. he's a young dude in his mid-20s, i doubt he cares about nutrition!!!

my rent was 500 and it WAS a closet. whatever, he is an artist he doesn't need space or a desk now does he? stop being so critical people! he knows he should stop smoking but buying ur own paper and rolling your own tobacco is equivalent to 2x the number cigs instead of a normal pack (not that i condone smoking).

i loosely follow these people. they live in brooklyn, for two they live on $30/mo.
