I saw something DIY for this over on Ashley English's blog

I think these bags are super adorable. One of the main uses I get out of bags for produce is to group them together when they are weighed. I'm concerned I'd be tacking too much extra weight onto all my purchases with bags like these, though.

Does anyone know where to get those awesome white porcelain tumblers? I think Williams Sonoma used to but no longer carries them. I am striking out on the internet.

Speaking as someone with a tiny bathroom that has a vanity with storage squeezed between a tub and wall, I wouldn't change out the pedestal sink. I can't wait until it is time to redo our bathroom. It looks terrible and feels cramped.

I think the lighting in the photography is exaggerating how much darker it looks in some of the shots. I did prefer the brighter, lighter feel in the "before" but the minty green was not good. The new colors are really cool. I totally agree about the molding, though. I'd love to see it with those sections an off-white or super light gray.

Those are really cute. My tomatoes aren't even planted out yet and they are huge, so I'm afraid the cages wouldn't be visible for long.

Of course the window made a huge difference, but I can't get over how much better that looks with those cabinets removed from above the sink/counter.

The subtle change in finish is clever, but I have to say the big fat stripes are starting to look really dated to me.

Gorgeous shot! I usually think the rainbow cakes look gross, but this bright stack of pancakes is really eye catching. I'd definitely make that for a special day.

I feel bad for the kids whose parents have a problem with this, and I raised a vegetarian, vegetable loving, adventurous eater with organic soy milk and kale and the works. You can feed kids healthy and still indulge in a little fun sometimes.

My son was gifted a hand-me-down horse when he was about one, and it mostly sat even though we had a lot of kids in and out of the house all the time. On the other hand, I remember playing on one as a child but I think it was one of those seventies ones with a frame and springs that was more fun and less pretty to look at.

Ours pilled, too. And they aren't as soft as I had hoped.

I guess I'd consider our tree a 3rd option. It is an artificial tree, but also an antique. It has been around for decades and if I were to ever want to get rid of it I would sell it to someone else who would appreciate it.

Patrick, I think her point was that those pipes are not being re-purposed. If you go to the website, it appears they are made from new pipe that was not headed to a landfill. You have to admit it is annoying that "green" and "eco" have gotten so trendy that the words are being slapped on products that aren't truly eco-friendly.

(in this case I don't think the seller is promoting them in that way, though)

I agree with everyone who is saying those bins have got to go. The other improvements to the room are looking good. I think it would be better off empty than with the plastic bins.

If it were my house, I would probably turn it into a shelf for some of my old books along with antiques and a plant or two (does that area get any light?). I might even add some moulding to make it look more like an intentional built-in shelf. Otherwise I'd make a cupboard door to hide it if it is just going to be for storage.
