I give one point for the Ba-Tampte pickle jars. I would never have thought to use pickle jars for food storage. Won't the food smell like...pickles? Kate Payne's Warm East Austin Home House Tour |

After. There was a big bowl of salad on the table, and we always took some after the main course. I subsequently got used to having it beforehand in restaurants, but at home, I prefer to have it after the main course. I'd much rather tackle the main course when I'm hungry. Whether that's good or bad is another story. Cultural Differences: Salad Before or After Dinner? |

If it were me, I'd be hesitant to put shelves up there, or anything substantial for that matter, because I know I would eventually fumble and drop something onto the stove. Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Good Questions: What Should I Do With the Blank Space Above My Stove? |

I left my cat alone for a three-day weekend and when I got home found that she had somehow (and I'll never figure out how) gotten her collar around her front leg so she was wearing it like a Miss America sash. It had to be uncomfortable, and I don't know if it happened on day one or day three. Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Home Alone: Leaving Your Pets While Away |
