As for building materials, USG Drywall is made in NW Indiana, and other locations around the US. Shaw, Mohawk and Milliken carpet is made in the southern US, Sherwin-Williams paint is made on the South side of Chicago, and Pionite laminate as well as some Formica is American made. QueenOfTheFail: I agree - the whole fun of using found and vintage items, for me, is that they don't cost an arm and a leg.
