One friend had a toilet paper holder that was scented inside. I thought that was the coolest thing, so cool, that I dreamt about it that night and peed the bed!!

Another friend had a water bed in the middle of her yard. She said it was for when she set up her tent...we just jumped on it.

Closets were also big for me. I never had one in my room till I was a teenager and we moved into this house that had a huge closet and then a door that opened into another one tucked under the eaves. I practically lived in there, drawing and daydreaming...

It was nice to see the before photos and all the cute little things they had around their home, but it was hard to get a sense of what exactly After looked like. Would have been nice to see more of the rooms rather than the doodads.

oh archdarling, I feel your pain. I have tons of books and movies that I lend out but most people are good at giving them back. We just have one friend that we don't allow to borrow ANYTHING from us. I guess it helps that I have a super geeky husband who set up a book/video database for them to sign things out on...

Home by Michael Bublé and Feels like Home by Chantal Kreviazuk always make me feel homesick for something.

I do love this house, I like how clean and uncluttered it is and all the windows. It just needs some art on the wall or some family photos...it feels a bit like a beautiful house showing.

I like my neighbourhood that I live in, it's an older part of town and the neighbours are pretty eclectic and friendly - but new ones moved in last year. I don't think they know how to walk around and look for each other, they just yell the names of who they're looking for over and over really loudly until the other one answers. Usually at 7am on a Saturday. Our street is narrow and everything echoes. We hear waay to much of their lives and complaints.

Another neighbour is great in the daytime, but come 3:00 in the morning, him and all 8 of his buddies sit on the porch and yap after having been at the bars. It only usually happens on the weekend and I guess that's what earplugs are for. But still.

I'd take any of those kitchens...especially if they included a man actually doing something in the kitchen - like cooking or cleaning!

We call it 'character'...

This house has a lot of the right stuff to make it a cool, interesting house, but it makes me want to jump on the couch and throw some pillows just to shake it up a bit! I think it needs some colour on the walls - sometimes white walls work in a place but not here.

I do love how there's occasional punches of orange. My favourite colour!

It's cool to see that you only need a few little thing that don't need to be expensive - like a plant or something - to make your house look awesome.
