I used to eat cereal out old an old CD spindle cover because, well, I'm a dude. But make sure to clean the ever loving hell out of it. For the same reasons you don't want to work on a computer then chow down on lunch. Heavy metal poisoning. And I don't mean "Troglodyte". :)

I do this. Though the past week or so my iPhone has been plagued with DST issues. I have to set it one hour later in order to wake at my normal hour. grrrr. I'm sure there has to be a patch I'm missing.

Ansela, this clearly is not the bag for you. As my nonie would say it's "built like a brick S#!%-house" I have their wallet and adore their products. His web page is also incredible. I've spent an hour there reading everything. But it's not for everyone. In a world were people feel "rugged enough" is acceptable, I still ask for more. Our grandparents built products like this. Sadly, these days profiteering has almost completely swallowed up whole all the pride in workmanship this country was known for. It's good to know that some still care about making a quality product.

Made this last night and it was fantastic. I put a little sesame oil in it which i think gave it a nice nutty hint. Great recipe!

Fresh cumin is always awesome with tuna as well. Also not a fan of mayo I use mustard. Might be a bit much in this recipe but for a tuna sand, it's awesome.

It really depends. My old Kenwood and Pioneer integrated amplifiers sound way better than anything you can buy new these days particularly for the money. This is also the same for kitchen appliances. They don't always seem to be better just because they're newer.

I will say just about everything new feels like it's designed with a limited lifespan compared to products of yesteryear. I swear BMW's last 5 years and then fall apart. My fathers 1931 Buick starts every time when it was driven regularly. Apples and oranges maybe...

I have tried the Ralph Lauren textured paints and the work fantastic. I think it could be done correctly with textured paint. I painted my living room with suede RL paint. It took a while to get down the correct application but it looks awesome.

I prefer vintage electronics to newer technology. It looks better, it's built better, it's repairable. Try getting a new stereo receiver repaired. It's a joke. Plus the stuff from the 70s sounds better anyhow.

My sister and I video chat all the time about changes to my apartment in LA. She is in San Francisco and pregnant so she's not going anywhere anytime soon. Also great for a soon to be uncle living 500 miles away. Having wireless internet and a built-in webcam on my laptop is a great solution.

I did hear of an IT guy setting up a weekly video conference and "met" a girl on the other side and started dating her. Kind of a cute story.
