We just went through this! Our 2 yo daughter is now sleeping through the night without diapers. She'd been in underwear during the day for the last 2 mos. We moved to underwear during naps ~1 mo ago. Our pediatrician said to put her in undies overnight after a few nights of dry diapers. She's had 2 accidents at night but overall great! Good luck! We had a taco truck for our daughter's first birthday last month. It was so much fun. My husband and I both grew up in Southern CA so tacos have always been standard comfort food for us both. OMG. Turkey meatloaf sandwiches at our house are a weekly occurrence. We make a turkey meatloaf (recipe below) then put it on lightly toasted sourdough bread with a hint of mayo on both pieces of bread and catsup. Our meatloaf: 1.5 lbs ground turkey breast (extra lean is essential, otherwise it tastes too turkeyish ironically) 1 sauteed onion salt pepper dash cayenne 2 eggs 2 TBS milk 1/2 cup or so breadcrumbs 3 TBS catsup dash worcestershire Bake for 15 mins at 350, then smother in tomato sauce and cook for another 30 mins. yum! What if you put down regular wood 2x4s well sanded and painted? I think it's tacky as well. The average American moves 11.7 times in a lifetime, so with this logic, you'd assume 11.7 gifts. I totally understand giving a gift when someone buys a house/condo/apt, but assuming someone will and directing them what to buy is tacky. If someone wants to buy you something and asks you what you'd find useful, by all means, tell them! :) Tacky or Tasteful?
