I think it mostly depends on how much time you spend on that chair... At home I opted for a nice chair that fitted nicely the rest of my furniture, it's comfortable enough to spend a couple of hours on it, and doesn't look alien. Ultimate Office Seating: Efficient Task or Stylish Side Chair? |

I've had lots of carpal tunnel issues and what not because of how many hours a day I spend in front of a computer (I'm a software developper), and this thing is a disaster. The angle of the keyboard/trackpad will cause injuries when used for more than 1 hour per day. A keyboard needs to be flat, that's it.
