I am doing the cure for the fourth time, last fall I was planning to do the one room cure on my Bedroom, but did not get past the organizing stage. This time I am doing a decorative redo of my bedroom, and I plan to spend very little $$. I will also do a deep clean on the rest of the apt., thanks to the previous cure's I am very organized.

I just purchased a beautiful blue paisley duvet form Overstock for only 23.99 this will be the focal point of the whole room. This weekend I painted an IKEA box bright blue, that holds my jewelry, washed all of the windows and embellished a plain white bed skirt with some ribbon trim. Next weekend I hope to paint my bedside table and organize my desk area. I will post some before and after photos when
soon.

My grandmothers collection of Pisgah Forest pottery. Growing up my Mom and Grandmother would drive from Charlotte to Wisconsin to spend the summers at my great grandfathers house. While on their drive they would stop in Arden, NC and purchase a piece of Pisgah pottery. The bright Turquoise color adds a punch of color to my living room

This is my third cure, and now it has become a twice a year ritual for me. The cure gives me a chance to thoroughly deep clean my apartment and keep it organized. This weekend I tackled the kitchen cleaning it from top to bottom, I even oiled all of my wood cutting boards and utensils. I cooked twice and made a big pot of Chili and tuna casserole.

It is a hard choice, but I love the soundtrack from Magnolia with Amiee Mann.

I would love it because, I am trying to cook more at home.
