I usually buy this on amazon, but my fav by far (even better than better than bouillion) is Glace de Poulet. It is a reduced gelatin like product, and does not have MSG.

I froze when I saw the staircase details. LOVE, SERIOUS LOVE. That is one thing that DC homes have lost - and that Baltimore kept up so well- the gorge, gorge trim and architectural details. This place is a beauty.

I have been honored to visit this house several times (co-host a singles event with Ralph). And it is even lovelier in person. Well thought out, lovely artwork, drool-worthy furniture and still a very warm home.

Full disclosure: I am a real estate broker, and a Realtor.

A few things to mention: About kickbacks from vendors your Realtor may recommend- It is highly illegal to get any sorts of referral fees from loan officers, inspectors etc. Most people that I would refer, I refer because they are good at what they do. Buying a house can be a very stressful process, and in today's market, financing can be a royal pain. I refer people who can assure me that they will get your loan done, problem free. Also, people always assume that a home inspection is only for you to figure out what is wrong with the house. A good home inspector points out the 'potential issues', gives you a ball-park figure on process to fix it, and how much it costs, and really important- they will teach you about your house- what to do for maintenance, what to look out for in future etc.

About financing- a lot of times I will ask my clients about the finances, but more than anything it would be so that I can refer the right loan officers to them. If my client has little money to put down, and needs to do an FHA loan, I would refer them to a Loan officer who has done several similar loans.

One last thing- and this is certainly not industry standard- I personally will not make a client sign a buyer-broker agreement until when we are presenting an offer. If I suck at my job, I should be fired. I still have not been fired.

Miranda's place was the NICEST!!! I loved her kitchen. I also liked Charlotte's stark white on white kitchen, but I am a sucker for white on white kitchens.

I liked Carrie's sofa. It reminds me of the LIAM from Mitchell Gold Bob Williams. I would never buy it, but I still like it. And I like her footstool. And I liked their bedroom.

That Ann Sacks tile in the kitchen though was a little 'throw-up' and OTT for me. But I am sure someone somewhere loved it.

The Stratton bed from Pottery Barn is A LOT of money, but is probably the best purchase EVER!!! It has really good storage- it is very well made, you can actually move with it, and you can haul it around without worrying that it will get jacked up.

I love IKEA, but nothing compares to the Stratton Bed. Maybe you can scout for one on CL- it is really well made, I would trust that it will be in great shape.
