Nice progress and we can really see it starting to come together. You will have it looking great when it's finished. Well done. Breathe :-)

When we have light rain I just put my pot plants outside sans saucers and they get all the dust washed off them and look great afterward.
As far as watering goes - I just lift the pot. If it's light then it needs water. If it's heavier then it doesn't. When you do it regularly you get familiar with the feel of the pots and can judge it easily. Heavy pots I just kinda tilt - does the same thing.
The only thing I lose plants to occasionally is mites - the bane of my life. They are incredibly difficult to overcome.

I use Pinterest as an online recipe book, and as inspiration for my home and garden. However I do have my pins organised into specifics i.e. Gardening into Japanese/Minimalist, cottagey, formal, productive, and room-by-room + exteriors for houses. Even my recipes are neatly categorised.
The same applies to my art boards though, which I collect purely for pleasure. They are categorised into classical, contemporary, portraits etc. So perhaps my organising thing is just plain old OCD :-D

Speaking as a nurse:
Reading material - magazines/Readers Digests with small articles are better than books for most.
Portable DVD/Music player - WITH HEADPHONES. Hospitals are surprisingly noisy and, for other patients, someone else's music tastes just adds to the noise.
Nice smelling body wash/shampoo/deodorant go a LONG way to making the patient feel better.
On general wards flowers are nice but remove the hayfever inducing stamens first.
On our ward (in response to someone's comment above) while creating a cheerful room is nice for the patient it in no way causes nurses to go in more often. Likewise candy on offer.
That said - nurses do like to feel appreciated and, on our ward at least, baking (be it homebaked or store-bought) is always received with gratitude.
Also, while creating a nice environment, be aware that nurses need room to move and covering each and every surface with nice things creates more work for the nurse when she needs somewhere to put a wash bowl/meal tray/kidney dish etc.

I thought, at last, an apartment that really speaks to me. And it is - I loved the parts I could see of it.

I like it when the photos show the whole room, not just parts of it. And there were too many of particular objects etc. I didn't get a terribly good feel of layout or the apartment as a whole, which makes me sad because I so wanted to with this one.

Also (and not just with this tour but many) captions for the images are always appreciated.

I use my slow cooker 2-3 times a week, every season. That, along with my large glass-lidded wok and microwave vegetable steamer, are the three single items I could not live without.

The pork recipe looks delicious. I love to try new recipes. My latest venture (yesterday) was a slow cooker lasagne. That was pretty awesome actually.

Yes girls can be just as messy. Daughter and her best friend moved into their first apartment together this year when they started university. You'd think two immaculately groomed girls who take such pride in their appearance would also like to live in nice surroundings. Hmmm. All I can say is that despite not having anywhere to put your feet when walking, and having to move mountains to find somewhere to sit, they do at least seem to be reasonably clean. They do change their sheets etc regularly, and every couple of weeks they have a crazy tidy-up. The results last less than 24 hours, but I guess it halts the progression of mess to some extent.

At first I was horrified. Now I realise that it's NOT my responsibility and sooner or later they will develop pride in their home and shame of being "outed" as messy when people call in unexpectedly (at present they have no shame lol).

But, again, it is NONE of my business as long as they are happy.

I didn't get a real feel for the layout of the house at all because there were too many close shots. I was a bit disappointed to be honest. And I like my pets alive and warm lol

Gorgeous. I think this is an absolute stand-out.
I agree with comments made regarding the equal intensity in the colours meaning they balance each other, and the way the white trim ties it all together in such a clean, uncluttered manner.
Love, love, love.
This is my favourite home featured here without a doubt.

I've never been a fan of white or cream walls, but combined with all that beautiful natural light , and the amount of colour you have injected with the use of artwork and also in soft furnishings, I may be a convert :-)

Wow, this is a house I could really live in.

Love the colour palette, and especially like the artwork in the dining room and how the colours have an almost translucent effect against the wall colour. So soothing, so tranquil and serene.

Love, love, love.

My favourite parts? Your wardrobe - that is just awesome!

And your bedroom, because I am not a fan of the white-on-white theme that is currently all the rage in just about every site I visit. I like tasteful colour, and I think your bedroom is just beautiful and a refreshing change from all that clinical whiteness.
