This is one of my favorite recipes - quick to make and the kind of thing I enjoy on a cool fall evening: http://centerstagewellness.com/hot-and-sour-napa-cabbage/. Help! What Can I Make With a Giant Napa Cabbage? Good Questions |

Beets, the texture is just not appealing to me. We found that we love okra (my 4 year old son especially) when it's roasted. Takes away some of the slime and the flavor is great. Which Vegetables Are Most Challenging for You? |

I second the cold oil frying method from Cook's Illustrated. After reading that article, I eat way more fries than one person ought to. French Fry Perfection: 4 Tips from Fine Cooking Magazine |

We just made some for the first time. We have a hard time finding napa cabbage but got some in our CSA box! As long as we can find it in the stores or in our CSA box we will make it, otherwise we'll buy. Stuff is delicious! Make or Buy? Kimchi |

Yes, I read cookbooks all the time! I feel like I don't have enough time to read "real" books, and love reading through recipes. Never makes me hungry, just gives me plenty to think about. My favorites are Super Natural Cooking, The Best Recipe and Veganomicon. I try to limit the cookbooks I buy, so I haven't read too many lately. Late Night Reading: Do You Read Cookbooks in Bed? |

This is strange, it doesn't seem like it would simplify anything. It just adds in an additional thing that your kid needs to do each morning (thereby drawing out the getting ready process). Simplify Your Kids' Routine with Ready, Set, Go! |

Does this require any temperature regulation? I'd like to try this, I think my son would be really interested in watching. My son, Loki, has a dog that he calls "perrito" that he takes to bed each night. Luckily he is not TOO attached to it, as we have forgotten it at daycare on more than on occasion! Look! Sleeping Companions | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

I'm only 5' 1" and never had a problem with our countertops which I think are standard? The only time it bothers me is if I'm working on something kind of labor intensive - like rolling out dough. I like the shorter countertop, for that purpose, but also so that if you have kids they can participate in cooking with you. Look! I would always trim my sons nails when he was asleep, or as he got older, when I was breastfeeding him. And, finally, we just taught him to sit still. He was fascinated by the nail clipper and will just watch us when we clip them. Not all kids are like that, but I think it's probably easier for most than people would think. Zoli's Buzz B.
