That sounds wonderful! A friend of mine recommends using them as dish scrubbers too. You just fold the produce bag into a small pad and tie with a strip of the netting. I have made a few and love them. Holiday Prep: Reuse Produce Netting For Fun Packaging tokketok |

It is a gorgeous lamp, isn't it? It actually needs rewiring and when I saw the inspiration photo, I realized that I could use it until then. In the meantime it won't be harmed at all. Before & After: Adjustable Lamps Used As Plant Stands |

I tried to make a table out of a tree stump. I sanded and decided to stain it. I went with a dark stain to try and match my furniture. Big mistake! I learned to always try and keep it natural. DIY Failures and Embarrassments: What Did You Learn? |

Yeah, the duct tape is definitely optional. Honestly, I just grabbed the first thing that I found in the tool drawer. It's my daughter's desk so I needed a quick remedy. Thank you for the ideas! I am going to use some old contact paper to cover those nails, eventually. Interesting note - there are child's drawings inside of the drawers (scribbles, hearts, and flowers). I'm going to keep those visible. This desk is very old and I just can't bring myself to cover those. How To Make Drawer Pulls From A Used Belt |
