A very beautiful home. It's amazing to me that you've managed to have such a vast collection of beautiful pottery and yet your place doesn't feel at all cluttered. A couple of questions, 1. where did you get the beautiful blue and white bedding? 2. I'm going to be visiting Boston next month so where should I go vintage pottery hunting? 3. did you paint your kitchen after you bought the chairs or did the chairs inspire the paint colour?

Love your house. Don't buy more furniture! Every single piece of furntiture or object is displayed perfectly - just enough space around them. Love the white walls. Am surprised by the black brick fireplace. I've had those kinds of fireplaces before and have always painted them white to blend with the walls but I really like the black. Is the planter pot with the snake plant in it a Jonathan Adler? Love your blog too. Have fun!

Any tips for boots/shoes at a winter/spring/fall party? I ask because we don't wear our shoes in our house - yet, even when I place a few pairs on the foyer carpet as a hint to guests to take off their shoes, inevitably some guests still wear their shoes and sometimes, damp winter boots around the house during a party. Ideas?
