i love these but why aren't there ever affordable designs like this that aren't pastel and boring? $75 for crib sheets is just kinda crazy and it gets so frustrating finding inspiration here (cause there's so much and its always beautiful) and not being able to find anything similar that's reasonably priced. i would love to see a regular post series that shows the super cool design pieces that are more expensive paired with an alternative that the majority of us might actually be able to buy.

you might be able to replicate something like this on a small scale by finding old schematics in books and making collages out of them.

i really like the idea of a print that has a large area of solid color around the actual graphic. that way you have some nice space between the wallpaper pattern and the image on the print. i think this piece would like really nice considering your red bird mobile: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=vl_other_1&listing_id=27772140
