for whatever reason when my neighbors nextdoor smoke who knows what my entire first floor reeks of it for an hour or 2.
my neighbors on the other side would play loud music to drown out their screaming children.
The neighbor "boy" (20 something) who drops by and demands $20 to mow my 4x6 grass patch.

I prefer a bedspread. Generally more affordable and that way I can still do all my regular top sheet,wool blanket,2 thin comforters layering.

Also, I resent that "being a grownup" means spending too much money on crap you don't need. Why does being a grown up mean indulging in capitalism in such a big way?

as far as laundering goes. I would MUCH rather stuff my comforters into the washing machine every few months than try and wrestle my comforter into and out of a cover every few weeks.

These are lovely, but I can't ever see myself spending on a blanket what my college courses cost.

These examples are fugly and dated.There are so many pretty, modern patterns out there now that call for rich colors and luxurious yarns.

last I checked, an $800 shower head did not qualify as "budget".
the teak floor is neat though.
