I second the FLOR suggestion -- I can't praise them enough, clean-up is SO easy, you just lift up the offending square(s), sponge it off, and put it back. They're a little pricey for me, but it pays off in durability. thanks everybody! rosenatti: you're so right, that indentation IS evil -- it's where all the spills and messes would pool up pre-slipcover -- so hard to clean out. beware, nurseryworks shoppers! lyndsea: no worries -- the original is still intact, waiting out my twins' babyhood until it's safe to come out from under the cover. steph still has the sewing pattern she made for the rocker (it's actually the sleepytime, not the storytime) -- if anyone wants to send her any queries, contact me through my blog and i can put you in touch...
