I like the concept a lot! I think it would be beautiful to mount this (small version) on the wall somehow. Maybe make gauzy tea bags myself with different kinds of tea in them and/or sew the tea to be arranged in a certain design (quilted effect). I like the rice idea, too. I am always drawn to felt projects but I feel this one would look a lot more interesting with more nails or whatever is fastening it to the wall...or some other way of fastening it that wasn't at ALL visible so you just see the felt. It seems too temporary like this, almost as if this was the way to see what it might look like when it was complete. But I love the idea! I enjoyed every photo. This place looks so fresh, yet comfortable. Love the tones of wood everywhere, touches of whimsy, paint colors, simplicity. Yum. Speaking of dollhouses (I thought this, too!), you can make your photos look similar to this: http://www.flickr.com/groups/tiltshiftmaker/. These photos are amazing to look through (timewaster alert). Apartment Therapy Chicago | Emily & Jacob's Poetically Photographed Home House Tour |

Love my desktop! Some of us want power over portability. I don't like typing on a laptop, as it feels like I'm playing the organ in "The Ghose and Mr. Chicken" (give me wrist cramps!). Apartment Therapy Unplugged | The New Desktop Computer Before it Becomes Obsolete |

When I was a little girl, we had a Realistic radio (it had a button you could push to light up the dial). Our babysitter told us that if we looked through the cracks of the back of the radio, we could see The Beatles singing on a teeny tiny stage inside the radio. Oh my goodness. It's true! Love this. I believe the homeowner meant they were planning on tearing down some of the DECORATING, not the house itself: "In 2007, we did a DIY on the bathrooms, kitchen and garden (on a tight budget) to keep ourselves happy. Even though we plan to tear some of it down and start again, it was well worth it!" Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | House Tour: Max and Peter's Squeaky-Clean Quarters Sydney |

Sorry, but at first I mistook the "after" for the "before." I don't like this at all. Cluttered, mismatched, uninteresting, and uncomfortable. I guess it could be boasted that most things are from IKEA, but other than that, this redo doesn't have the appeal, artisitic touches, or class that most of the other house tours on this site.
