I bought it a couple of weeks ago in black and I absolutely love it. It took forever to put together, but it looks fantastic in my apartment. I have a 46 inch lcd tv on it and it's supported well. I didn't install the door on the middle cabinet so that I could have access to cable box and dvd player, and it really looks great. So far, the drawers slide well & click perfectly! I also mounted my modem & all the wires on the back, and was able to attach the power strip, etc, using screws to the particle board, where it meets the "walls" inside the cabinets for support. There are holes for the wires inside! We'll see how it lasts...

gorgeous apartment! i have a jewelry armoire that is almost identical to the one you have- that my mother gave me from when she was a child (1950s!). The decals in that photograph are really pretty as well.

I have a livingspace wall. It is a 3-year rental (regardless of how long you need it), after which I have to call them to take it down and get my security deposit back (about $200). I think I paid about $1600 but my wall had a "pop-out" to accommodate a desk. I have heard some of the other companies are a bit cheaper.

The wall itself is actually pretty good. It is definitely not noise-proof at all, but it has lasted for 2 years and is relatively sturdy. I once asked about painting, and they basically said you can do whatever you want to the wall- they wouldn't even charge you for making a huge hole in the wall.

wow thanks for all the suggestions! Unfortunately, I don't have outdoor space or a window that would be accessible to place the dresser in front of. However, I will try some of the other methods- especially the vanilla or coffee grounds. I've used a cup of vinegar in the bathroom to eliminate odors so maybe that will help as well. Thanks!!
