Thanks for the opportunity to win one! I love KOHLER products but I'm afraid they're not in my budget. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed until the winners are announced.

Great space! Love that bench at the end of the bed & the dinning set looks really unique. I grew up with naugahyde material in my home and still appreciate it today. The vintage chairs look terrific with the West Elm table.

Great house and I love the lived in look of it. The pops of bright color with all that warm wood is really eye-catching.

I really like the look of pegboards in a kitchen. Thanks for the great collection of links and practical 'how-to's" I'm going to put them to good use.

Super cute space! I'm amazed with what you did with just 300 square feet. Very impressive, colorful and cozy.

I absolutely LOVE these! So glad modern designers like Jonathan Adler are giving us more options when it comes to color.

I'm tired of boring beige/off-white and plain Jane white. Enough already! There's an endless supply of bland sinks out there for everyone who wants one but for those of us who crave some fun color in our lives the choices are almost nonexistent. I suspect the prices will run high but hopefully they'll inspire other companies to use a little imagination in the products they produce. Consumers deserve more choices. Thanks for leading the way, Adler!

Just wanted to put in a good word for the "Ultimate Scratching Post." I've had cats all my life and I've gone through multiple scratching posts. I currently have three cats and they've been using the Ultimate Scratching Post for the last two years. It's super sturdy and has held up really well so I don't plan on replacing it anytime soon. It also comes with an optional "post perch" that you can purchase separately so your cats can sleep on top of it. My cats love this thing! Never considered painting it before but I just might give that a try.

And I love the cat sushi. It's one of cutest cat toys I've ever seen and I'm going to have to get some.

I'd go bold and bright with Mondrian as my inspiration. Repaint the cabinet doors of the vanity in various colors (bright red/yellow/blue/black and white) pick one of those colors for the walls as well. Add a slick modern light fixture or a vintage one. Replace the round mirror with a square one. And add a new slick looking modern medicine cabinet over the toilet. Can't really see the floor but maybe you can paint that too or add color coordinating rugs?

3 floor walk up. Had to park moving van a block away due to heavy traffic on street. Extremely hot summer day. Had 4 pals help me and my guy but it was a task and a half. Someone dropped a box and some antique Japanese vases my mother had left me were broken. And we couldn't get my newly bought beautiful vintage green velvet couch in the building. Took doors off & tried windows but it just wouldn't fit. I think my pals would have killed me if they could have. Learned my lesson that day and never asked friends to help me move again. Things also almost always mysteriously go missing when I move. But I've moved 10-12 times and all things considered, it's been a pretty painless experience.

Love that kitchen (wish there were more photos of it!) and it's great to see artwork all over the walls. I hate blank walls that are barren of art and Lisa's made great use of all her wall space. Nice teapot & clock collections too. I'm a collector myself so I appreciate the organized clutter.

Nothing worse than spending an hour searching through pages and pages of junk on Craigslist or Ebay wrongly listed as "mid-century" or "danish modern" in an effort to grab attention & mislead potential buyers. I wish these sites would do a better job of policing their listings and making sure things are properly listed & labeled. Guess that means I'm suffering from "Craigslist Elitist Syndrome" myself but I personally refer to it as "Craigslist & Ebay Fatigue."

Love these photos! A home just isn't a home until it's got a cat (or dog) inhabiting it. They make every house seem inviting and comfortable.

Love it! You made some wonderful updates and really improved the space. I really like the bold & playful pops of color from the artwork combined with the white walls and wood floors. And you made great use of Ikea cabinets. Thanks for sharing your home. I found it inspiring.

10 years ago my guy and I decided to sell our mutual record collection due to space concerns in our studio apartment. Together we had hundreds of albums and many of them were rarities still not available on CD. I hung on to a few of my favorites handed down to me from my parents and some bootlegs, but that was it. We never regretted it and we never looked back until recently.

We just purchased our first home and we have more living space than we ever imagined we'd have (1200 square feet to be exact). While hunting for home furnishings at the local Goodwill and charity shops my guy started browsing the used record bins. And guess what? He got the vinyl buying urge again! In the last 5 months he's put together a small but impressive record collection and I love seeing him get a big grin on his face when he comes across a great record for 10¢. Sometimes you just can't shake the collecting bug! I think the key is to keep your collections manageable so you can enjoy & appreciate what you have. And never let your collections overtake your living space.

I love it! It's a modern take on the old Westinghouse "Match Your Mood" fridges produced in 1968.

It's a really a shame that home appliances are so dull now. I really wish more companies would wise up and offer more color options, patterns, etc. instead of the boring standard white, black, off-white and stainless steel looks that have now become standard. At least washer & dryers are starting to get more colorful again but you have to pay a lot of money if you want to own a colorful fridge or oven now. Before the '80s, there were so many more color options and styles available for home appliances.

I LOVE this place! Great use of bold colors and tons of wonderful eye candy. It looks fun and inviting. That entry way is to die for and I really like the fireplace. And that bed is amazing! It's easily one of my favorite house tours. Thanks for sharing your space Shauntelle & Dave!
