I definitely agree. I had a new-ish (about 4 years old) pyrex dish explode on me a few months ago. But the old pyrexs that were either hand-me downs or bought at thrift stores are still good.

I do this all the time! It's best when I'm out for an evening, the husband can just pop one out of the freezer and have it for dinner. It's better than the alternative, cereal and handfuls of mini marshmallows and chocolate chips out of the pantry :^\

I REPEATEDLY leave my hair flat iron on, coming home to the smell of burning plastic and my fear of burning the entire apartment complex down.

I haven't had any kitchen related mishaps....as of yet. I'm sure there's some in my future.

it has to be a bowl of fresh sweet cherries. There are amazing in my part of the world and are a once a year treat. My problem, I buy a 10lbs flat and instead of making all the treat I dream up, I eat them. In a week.

this is exactly what my kitchen looks like while I'm cooking. I try and clean as I go, but it never really works out and then once you clean the counters, then you have to deal with.....the dishes. The only downside to home cooking & baking.

I have all white appliances and I love them. I find stainless is getting too trendy and alot of them look cheap with all the black plastic trim.

Our newest addition was a white bottom freezer samsung fridge. Love it. And a few hundred dollars less, just because it was white.
