What about window seats over radiators? I have three I would like to cover up, making at least one a nice window seat. I realize I'd have to make sure there was adequate room for air/heat circulation out of the window seat structure but has anyone any tips on how best to go about building these? The smallest house in Britain is in Conwy, North Wales. It's a 1 up-1 down. It' not lived in anymore but was up until 1900 and the family of the last occupant still owns it today. Scroll down the page for pic and info. Skinny Houses from Around the World Roundup | Apartment Therapy New York |

It's has a kind of college or school feel but for grown ups I guess. I do like it for one piece but more would be a bit too much, unless you were in the industry I guess. Works the same for movie posters. I have a 3'x4' of the 30th anniversary edition of "The Italian Job" poster up in my office at home - it has union Jack motif and feels very similar to The Who mural you show. I am also looking for a nightstand for a greyscale bedroom, actually inspired by Paul Massey's house in Living Etc. ( bottom row middle pic is form that spread!), so I owuld love his barrel idea. Also want mismatched nightstands, my wife has a small black and gold chinese cabinet with drawer. Nightstand Inspiration | Apartment Therapy New York |

Jon, great work! We have just purchased in Clinton Hill. While the apt we bought is very cookie-cutter other apts we saw in the building, and one in particular, had the same sense of style as yours that persuaded us we could stamp our own character on it. The apt that inspired us had the same molding as you put in, but had pocket doors with glass windows in not the same doors as you. As mnay have said it is very stately but not overdoing it. We'll try not to plagiarize too much when we move in August. Apartment Therapy New York | House Tour: Jon Improves on the Stark White BoxNew York |
