I would paint it the green or lighter blue color seen in the comforter, leaving the rest of the walls brown. I personally think a mural would be too much, especially if the bed is going to stay there. You could get a great patterned floor rug that is accented with your color of choice as well to tie it all in together.

Very interesting...luckily my son is too young to determine whether this would be hot or not. But, we do live only miles away from the MN Zoo. Definitely an eye catcher.
