Hey there folks! We've actually been debating for a while now whether to extend the shoe racks all the way down the hall - it would be super easy and inexpensive to do. On one hand, it would give us more shoe storage in the hallway. On the other hand, the 3-pair limit has made us better about keeping an uncluttered entry and remembering to put most shoes back where they live -- in our bedroom closet. Unlike the fictional people that live in IKEA and PotteryBarn catalogs, our house didn't come with a designated mudroom or even a foyer. Instead, we have a single ultra-narrow hallway.
