This show was fantastic! Both the clothes and the interiors were inspiring. I especially loved the rooms with burnt walls, antiqued mirrors, and rusted steel panels. Granted, it's a matter of taste, but I agree that a colored stain would have preserved some of the wonderful woodgrain and still allowed for color. I LOVE Nakashima! I had a tour of his home and workshop in PA this summer. It was an excellent, beautiful experience. I didn't know this, but he was quite a fine architect as well, having designed all the buildings on his property. His daughter gives the tour, which is wonderful.
