I'm married and childless (except for the cats...) and we have our own washer/dryer in our apartment. I SHOULD do 1 load a day but usually I slack off and then have to do 3 or 4 (or 5) loads in a day. Darks in warm, lights in warm/hot, colors in cold water wash. I took down my vertical blinds (after 6 years!) and replaced them with curtains on rings. But I don't plan on re-mounting the blinds when I leave.
