Good news... there's a cheaper and safer solution. Baking soda! Just sprinkle some in and let it sit for a while. When you go back to clean, everything will just wipe off. Easy peasy. This works really well, too. :) http://etsy.me/pQZ5N2 Clean Baked-On Gunk from Pans with Dryer Sheets |

I definitely would not consider Green Works a true "green" product line. http://www.greenworkscleaners.com/products/toilet-bowl-cleaner/ingredients/ Just the fact that the bubbles don't disappear should be a warning flag. I use my own product, Soapy, because it's effective, rinses quickly and it's multipurpose. You can use it for a lot more than just cleaning a toilet. http://www.etsy.com/listing/42885126/soapy-all-purpose-dilutable-cleaner Test Lab: Non-toxic & Natural Toilet Bowl Cleaners Grist 05.19.2009 |

I've been doing this for a long time and it works really well. The other thing you can add are bits of lemon. oh, yikes. combining fabric softener and diesel fuel just sounds like one big toxic mess. aren't you just covering one chemical smell with another? i would soak the clothes in a basin with 3 parts water to one part lemon juice, then wash with detergent and a cup of baking soda and add white vinegar to your rinse dispenser. good luck!
