My partner has to have the LL Bean broccoli salad at Thanksgiving and Christmas. He calls it rabbit food. And it's delicious!

I know that this post was primarily about American patchwork, but I'd like to add my favorite style of quilting -Hawaiian quilting. They appliqued beautiful, giant designs.

Tess of Myrna May - I don't really embroider (just sometimes here or there), but I do sew a lot. For cotton fabric I like Fabricworm.com. And http://thimbleblossoms.bigcartel.com/ has some really cute quilt patterns. http://www.colettepatterns.com/ has great vintage inspired clothing patterns. I really like to do English Paper Piecing, but you don't have to have a pattern for that. Sometimes I can find some great stuff on Etsy, too. Good luck! -Hannah

I'm really excited to read an article on here about new sewing notions. Those Inkodyes are super cool. But, I'd like to see different sources for all of these items. It kind of seems more like a Purl Soho Marketplace article when 5 out of 8 of the products are from Purl.

My Frenchie only sleeps in the bed in the winter time. I've had her for 6 years and my SO for 3, so she gets her way. Even before I moved in with my SO, the Frenchie only slept in the bed during the winter and under the bed in warm months. She's re-learned how to jump on the bed, so now I'm not so sure if this routine will stick. She's getting older and likes the comfy bed. Oh, well.

I bought my Dutch Oven at HEB (a Texas chain grocery store). It was inexpensive and looks great. I love it to death and have given them as presents. The only complaint that I have is they only have a 5 qt size. I would like one size smaller and eventually one size larger.

I always knew that I moved a lot, but I don't think I've actually sat down and counted until just now. Wow, 16 times in only 26 years. This is completely different from my SO who hasn't moved very much at all.

I don't really like glassware. But I do have a growing collection of decorative ceramics.

My SO has been gone for about two weeks now. And I realized that I either don't eat dinner or I just make myself a grilled ham and cheese. I do treat myself with nice breads and fancy cheeses for the grilled cheese.

I sewed my duvet cover. It wasn't hard, but my dog decided to curl up on the pile of fabric while I was sewing the seam.

I love the first picture. But I just made a duvet cover out of an Urban Outfitters tapestry. It looks great!

I got mine at a local thrift for 35 bucks! It's a good thing my bf can fix everything on it.

Bubby's Brunch Cookbook has a great bacon, leek, egg, and Gruyère casserole. It was the show stopper at a brunch I had. So simple, so delicious!

Marcel annoys me to no end. I like Jamie, but I'm glad she's off so they can finally kick off Marcel. I think once Marcel is off it will be a really good competition since it will be about the dishes not posturing.

Kjansson, that was rude. If the buyer loves them then it doesn't matter what they paid for them. I know I have furniture that people don't like, but I don't care.

I use a stove top espresso maker for my coffee. And I honestly think it's the best for my budget and my taste.

When I lived in Philadelphia last year, we used DE to get rid of bedbugs. It worked, but I had over zealous roommates. The house looked like it had snowed inside. Now I can't stand the smell of the stuff. But I think I could use it in small doses like you suggest.
