I would be careful about using window film. I purchased a roll of removable window film from Home Depot. The instructions included a warning indicating that applying the window film may void window warranties. Given that my landlord had just installed new windows, I didn't chance it. I love jmdustin's idea of using frosted paper and double-sided tape. I'm sure my landlord will appreciate it as well. I think it's lovely. It reminds me of benches in a park behind a building of some sort. The tables are the same used for outdoor seating at Mixt Greens in San Francisco.
