Hi, Casey here. Thanks so much for sharing my project! The wrapping did indeed take a while to do, but I spread it out over a week or so, wrapping here and there in the evenings while I watched tv. I just used a clip to keep it from unraveling when I needed a break. DIY Idea: Colorful String Cord Covers |

Wow, that kitchen/dining area is an exact replica of the one I had in a 1930's spanish style apartment in downtown San Jose. Except mine was 'renovated' with faux wood-grain laminate countertops. Yeesh. This one is much nicer. :) Renovation Resource: 9 Sources for Antique & Reproduction Hardware |

I work full time and additionally run my handmade businesses out of my little one bedroom place. Things have gotten a bit chaotic in there with the holiday orders! I just passed my holiday shipping deadline and am so looking forward to getting everything back into place and spiffed up again. I'm also trying to live more like a minimalist, so I need to do a serious purge. I can't wait to get started! Join Us & Get Organized in 2013: The January Cure! |

I put the tree up whenever I get a chance, but never take it down before January 7th. Yes, the 12 days of Christmas start on Christmas, not before! O Tannenbaum: When Do You Put Up Your Tree? |

I just painted my bedroom something similar to #2. I'm really liking it! It makes the room look so much larger, too. A Touch of Color: Pale Bedroom Walls |

Those are so pretty! I especially like the ones with blues and greens. They would look great with a single structural plant, like a specimen cactus or a snake plant. Handmade Ceramic Pots by Esther Pottery |

My boyfriend and I have been in our "new" place for 5 months now. That means 5 months of living with our terrible reddish-brown bedroom walls. I painted my office first. Since we didn't "live" in there it was easier to get that project done. Just a couple of days ago I broke out the primer and started painting the brown. I only got about 1/4th of the walls primed, but I figured it's just enough motivation to force me to finish the job. I feel better in there already! The reward will be looking in there and never seeing that brown again. When Home Projects Take Over Your Life |

The only things I have ever found in my apartments are a Playboy (college girls edition) and a horrible ceramic music box with roses and bible verses on it. I had no use for either! I wish I found those cool hangers instead. It Came With The Place: Inherited Treasures |

The first airstream is so lovely. That would be a nice way to camp! My parents had an airstream-esque trailer when I was growing up, which they sadly sold. I would have loved to get my hands on it as an adult. I also love teardrops of all kinds. I’m planning on getting one to pull with my MINI Cooper. :) 10 Homes on the Move |

I tried this same paint technique on a wood step-stool from Ikea, also with green and white paint! I only added the herringbone design to the treads, though, keeping the rest of the piece white for contrast. It came out great! Painting Pattern: Green Herringbone The Art of Furniture Restoration |

That’s such a great idea! I love that they didn’t paint the piece – the bright colors add so much interest. I might have to try something like this for my new studio space. Before & After: From Cabinet Doors to Hot Honeycomb Arrow & Apple |

I like the patterned curtains, too. I think the design has such a small, consistent repeat that it doesn't compete with the rug at all. Go for it! Window Panels To Match My CB2 Rug? Good Questions |
