I always use my reusable baggu bags, but when I need plastic to line my trash cans, I make my weekly trip to Target (they're more sturdy) without my reusables. Kitchen Shopping Organizing: Reusable “Plastic†Bags From Bite | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |

I always wondered about vitamins- I bought this HUGE vitamin bottle from Costco, and it expired Dec 09 (I still have about 1/2 of it left!)... I'm still taking it, but wonder if it's still as effective? Do Expiration Dates Really Matter? | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

My dad and grandma always just made it with soup. Add some pork/short ribs to boiling water, peel and slice the daikon, wait for the water to boil again, add to the daikon, simmer for about 30 mins? Season with salt (we use fish sauce) and pepper to taste. Garnish with cilantro/green onion. What Can I Cook With Daikon Radishes? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

When I moved jobs from Culver City to Vernon, my commute from Beverly Hills was just not cutting it anymore. My boyfriend convinced me to try moving to Pasadena, and although I was EXTREMELY opposed from moving away from the west side, I have to admit, I've fallen in love with Pasadena. Los Angeles as a whole seems difficult to walk, but I agree with Jose, if you're staying within your neighborhood, it's not difficult at all. I live in Pasadena (LA-ish) and I walk to my local Trader Joes/Whole Foods and to Old Town no problem. Los Angeles Walkability Ranking Update | Apartment Therapy Los Angeles |

Also, if you go to those sites daily and simply click on a link, they will donate a specified amount to the cause (something to do with the sponsors on the page, I think). It's great, because it will tell you how much that one simple click has contributed to each cause. Anyway, I've had the reminders sent to my email each morning, so I can help contribute daily to all of these sites. :) Holiday Giving: Shopping for a Greater Cause | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |

I know I've seen a very similar version of the lamp at Target a while back for a good price, not sure it's still in stock... sorry I can't seem to help locate it online. :( Check your local Target stores- maybe you'll get lucky! Faire Houre Handcrafted Clocks | Apartment Therapy Los Angeles |

I'm also quite sure this is an Asian thing where shoes were never allowed in the house. It was never allowed while I was growing up, and I was taught to take them off at other people's house as a common courtesy. It's weird to me that people would get so upset at a no-shoe policy. When my friends come to visit I always remind them that shoes aren't welcome on my carpet, but no one seems to mind. Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | The Benefits of Leaving Your Shoes At The Door |

The "authentic" way for Thai tea is to use condensed milk instead of sugar. Well, that's how my dad always made it, so it's the only way I like it. Also, Vietnamese coffee is used with condensed milk. I'm not much into sweets, but I LOVE condensed milk. I eat it by the spoonfull!! As a late night snack, I used to warm it in the microwave and then add Smart Start and milk. BEST. SNACK. EVER. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Tip: Try Condensed Milk In Your Hot Tea |
