i saw it at the grocery store a couple months ago. dont remember the price, but remember looking at the price and thinking... Ouuuuch! but that grocery store overprices all their household stuff. i hadn't seen it anywhere else since so maybe it would be worth it. oh man. i do this exact same thing! our local grocery store has been running better deals on whole gallons than half gallons... then i end up throwing out MORE than half a gallon... freezing is a good idea but i'm paranoid with milk and expiration dates... drinking milk the day before its date even makes me wanna yack. i wouldnt be able to go about my day knowing weeks old milk is thawing in the fridge. i dont know what kind of avocados i've been buying... but for the last month or maybe more, i've bought some ugly avocados. they look fine on the outside, but after i cut it open, they have nasty brown spots on the inside! just nasty looking, so i throw them away. i've thrown away at least 5 avocados during the last month. very disappointing. i've almost lost hope on all avocadoes for the rest of the summer. i got the siggi's yogurt and took it for breakfast at work... wasn't expecting such a dense, thick yogurt. it was sickening. ruined my appetite.... requires a very acquired taste to eat that by the spoonful. blech. but i could definitely see it as a substitute for a recipe... genius! my mom makes spinach frequently, and she's getting older :( i don't like to see my mom squeezing spinach with her achy hands. when i'm there and she's making something spinachy, i try to be the squeezer.... but i'm no good apparently, she always ends up re-squeezing anyways.
