I had a friend in the UK get one of these for me a couple of years ago when they were first on the market and not available in the US. It's been used about twice a week since then.

I love the way it emulsifies dressings -- that's my main reason for keeping it around. Dump in some herbs, some minced garlic, some vinegar/acid and some oil and shake away. 30 seconds later, you have a nice thick dressing.

I wash it in the dishwasher. It has no chips so far, and I'm very happy with it. I have been very careful to take care of the gasket in between the two halves, however. It seemed to me that that was the most likely failure point.

Mine is a Cooking Light recipe for Chicken with Curried Mango Sauce -- look for it on their website (cookinglight.com). It's easy and delicious as hell. I like to add chopped fresh cilantro, but it isn't necessary.

You should pick me (or rather, my family) because we will hit every demographic out there. I am a 43 year old mom, and I've been actively playing video games since the late 70's -- I actually had Pong in my house! All the other kids thought playing games on the tv was stupid. How times change.

I still play -- and have been wanting an Xbox to play the newest game in the Katamari franchise.

I also have two boys, 10 and 12, who play everything out there. And my husband, older than I, would love to try some of the more grown-up shooters out there for the Xbox.

We have a Wii and a PS2, so we have a point of comparison. In addition, we are a totally wired house (networked, hacked Tivos on the net, etc.) so we'd push that envelope too!

The problem with the glass lined thermoses was that if you dropped them, the glass shattered inside. As a child, there was nothing worse than opening your (metal) lunchbox to find out that you now had "crunchy" milk :(
