Yes, i know what QueenofTheFall is referring to - there was recently an article about tricks to getting a good night sleep, and it mentioned something about digital clocks with Blue digits keeping you awake more than ones with red....

I think I'm going to order it regardless, because it would look great in my son's nursery, but I must admit, this knowledge that Blue light may disturb sleep IS sort of lingering in my brain too!

Mimi2856, I freeze mine, and use it as the fat when I make chili - Just a teaspoon or 2, instead of butter or oil, adds a lot of flavor to the onions and garlic I saute before adding the meat in most chili recipes.

Love this! What fabric did you use for the crib Skirt? I'm doing a similar wall color for my son's room, and am looking for a good grey print for the crib skirt.

I've never had any luck with this - tried twice last summer, and the watermelon basically didnt absorb the vodka. I mean, logically, you cut a hole, you pour in the vodka, and the vodka sits there in said hole. It was terribly frustrating.

Not wanting to waste the watermelon, or the vodka, I decided to blending cubes of watermelon with the vodka in the blender. I ran it through a fine sieve, and put in the freezer to chill. Out came a DELICIOUS, refreshing, not too sweet martini that was a DELIGHTFUL shade of hot pink.

This strawberry Rhubarb pudding cake recipe from Epicurious is my favorite Rhubarb recipe of all time! The cake is moist and buttery tasting, like the perfect poundcakey shortcake. Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream - Absolute HEAVEN!!! I made this for my neighbor last week and they're still raving about it. It even makes a deliciously sinful weekend breakfast with a nice cup of coffee... =)

This is awesome. I just bought this for my husband for Christmas - He is a HUGE cheese freak. (I sometimes call him a cheese perv, because he LOVES a good cheese more than any individual should.) This will be the perfect gift -- A fun activity to do while we're off for the holiday.

Question: Where can one find goat's milk? I live in the princeton NJ area. Is there an online resource or did you buy it locally?

I'm with the writer on this one! I never much gave American Cheese it any credit, and dismissed it as a rubbery joke excuse for cheese, until I bought it one day to make a grilled cheese for my husband when he was home with the flu...

I hadn't realized it had such mild and melty lovliness. I definitely can appreciate it now on a burger, or a-top a tuna melt (on a crispy bagel). Sometimes when using a cheddar or for those types of comfort foods, they can seem heavy, or even greasy! I highly recommend anyone who has completely dismissed American cheese, give the old gal one more chance to woo you! :-)

I live in the Princeton NJ area, and we harvested our first few shelling peas last night! The broccolli is just about ready, and we had our first bright red tomato last weekend. It was from the "4th of July Tomato" plant that promises red toms before the 4th, but we were amazed that we had a lovely ruby red speciman already! YAY!
