Even our 15 pound Shih Tzu takes more than 15 minutes to clean properly and we do it every week. We use our basement laundry sink (Ick to the kitchen sink idea!). By the time he's thoroughly washed and dried it's at least 30 minutes.

I love the idea of keep a light blanket for picnics or park time! Note to self...

I cannot believe these hit the market. I do see the use for some disposable products, but not these. Sharing a hand towel with family has never been an issue for us.

Not my favorite look for apothecary jars, but the concept could be used for other things. I have made several really cute dessert pedestals with old thrifted china and candlesticks just like the ones used here.

I agree with colleen2009....the E 6000 glue rocks!

Love the ribbon pumpkins, but don't know how I feel about the teddy bear pumpkin. It's kind of strange looking.

@foogiefive: using Mr. Potato Head parts is a great idea!

@chelojelo I don't know the name of the paint bc it was done by the previous owner. I'll poke around in the garage to see if they left any touch up paint.

Gorgeous! I love the fireplace and all that adorns it. It feels lived in, which I think is wonderful. I love Sarah's House, so it's great to get a glimpse of Tommy's House. :)

In this particular bathroom I would probably paint it white. I would likely test out the white that I used on the ceiling (SW 7008) bc it's a favorite of mine. In a bathroom with good natural light, I might use SW 7065 Argos. I would also add really great hardware like Anthropologie's Prism Knob.

Thanks for all the feedback. I appreciate it. I didn't really have the option to change the vanity/cabinets/mirrors (like some people might find when renting). I personally would have painted the vanity, but that is not my mother's style. The mirrors were installed when the previous owners built the house. We don't believe the walls were correctly prepped underneath, so I opted not to tackle it in a weekend. I would LOVE to change the mirrors!
