5 Things Your Bartender Isn't Telling You

I've had the privilege of seeing the garden irl and let me tell you it is EVERYTHING. Beautiful plants, amazing art, and Paul and Reuben are perfect sweethearts. They even have a full-time taquero on staff. (jk.) My husband is sick of hearing about things I saw and want to copy from their garden. Love it.

I have to say that the fleur-de-lis glasses are pretty flimsy, too. It's just me and my husband, and we're not hard on our glassware at all.I bought 8 of them last summer, and I ended up with only two after a few months. They'd shatter at the least excuse and eventually I got rid of them rather than have another glass shatter while I was holding it.

Get a nice white or gray woolen blanket and dye it yourself! Fun project!

@STH I find them on trees. Practically everyone I know has a fig tree in their yard. (California here.)

Those succulents (Echeveria) get tall when they're getting ready to flower. They have lovely coral, orange and yellow bell-shaped flowers. Keep caring for it and it will be fine.

Paso Robles is a great place to visit. They hold a wine festival in May, and they have some of the darkest skies in California. I like it there a lot!

This ( http://ny-image2.etsy.com/il_430xN.65971178.jpg ) is the knocker I have on my door. When I first had it put up, I was expecting people to think it was weird, but it seems I'm the only one I know who finds a door knocker in the shape of an ear of corn unusual at all. Go figure.
I really think the sick lady and her tongue are so cool! So jealous of the person who gets to have her on their front door!

I find Jarritos Toronja to be way too sweet. Squirt is a better choice, or if you're in Southern California, Hansen's Grapefruit is awesome.
