I'm a cyclist and banana bunkers do come in handy: no more squooshed bananas in the jersey back pockets. The "ribbed" part is acts to contract or expand (like an accordion), depending on the size of the banana. Here's another banana carrier, no less suggestive and it comes in different colors including one that glows in the dark.

WATER. There are a number of products available in this country (US) now and some don't even need a plumber to install some bidet-like contraption so you don't need to use your left hand. I grew up using the water method (well, a nanny did it for me when I was very very young) and at first, like the opopomax, was squicked by the thought of using toilet paper. Plain TP-cleaning just feels unclean.

I grew up in Manila and we called these stainless steel carriers -- "piyambrera" -- from the Spanish "fiambrera" or lunch box. And like in much of the Asian countries that use these tiffin carriers, the rice goes in bottom container, the stew or main dish in the middle, and the veggies in the third. Our version had a small plate on top where we put the fish sauce.
