Nice little spot! Succulents are the absolute best plants. They save water and are absolutely gorgeous. There are so many types and varieties that even an all succulent garden will not appear homogenous. I agree with rlmesq that in L.A. succulents are prevalent in Silver Lake and Echo Park - another great thing about those areas!! One thing I learned from my dad, actually: Don't save the fine china just for the guests. Use it whenever you feel like it because life should be celebrated everyday. To this day, I do not have "special occasion" only silverware, purses, shoes, clothes, toys...I'd like to teach my child to just take care of things and use them as she pleases. Hi from L.A. - we used a bugaboo chameleon for the longest time, and we still have it but the interesting thing is that as the baby got bigger (as yours will be soon) I found that the less expensive and much lighter umbrella strollers were easiest to maneuver on stairs and in and out of the car. Now we just use the bugaboo when we know we'll be out for a long time and may want the baby to nap in the stroller. Otherwise, the umbrella stroller which just stays in the trunk is our go to when we are just getting out to run quick errands.
