I made this last weekend and used blue cheese instead of mascarpone - it was amazing! No vinegar, but maybe I'll try adding that next time. Recipe: Baked Mushroom Risotto with Caramelized Onions |

These sound great! Ever since I visited Tartine in SF and tried their chocolate chip cookies I've been wanting to make thin crispy ones.

I love this brand of coconut water! So far I've only seen it in one store in my area, but hopefully I can find it again soon. Product Review: Real Coconut Water |

I tried making a Manhattan with the Dolin blanc vermouth the other night (2-1 ratio bourbon to vermouth) and both angostura and orange bitters. It turned out really nice! I'll try only orange bitters next time.

This sounds like a great way to use the leftover egg whites from my ice cream recipes! These look so good. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | The Best Chewy Chocolate Cookies Ever ( Low-Fat Too) Recipe Reviews |

A recent roommate never seemed to understand about chipping in on chores and someone recommended the site www.chorebuster.net to me. It works so well and everyone does their share without thinking about it. You just put in what chores you want done, how often and how difficult and it spits out a schedule every week. I love it because the lazy roommate started helping and I don't feel like I need to set aside 5 hours to make a dent in cleaning - we do it little by little! I have a Lodge enameled dutch oven that I only use for vegetarian recipes. It's really easy to clean and convenient since it doesn't require seasoning. I usually use it to cook veggies that can take awhile (like eggplant) in some oil and then add a sauce. It's great for making risotto as well. I've been meaning to try the no-knead bread recipe too, but haven't done that yet. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Good Question: Vegetarian Recipes for the Dutch Oven? |
