I was searching AT for a tip on stubborn toilet build up and after reading this I went to the store and bought a standard pedicure pumice stone (no CLR available). The place I rent is old rental and the previous tenants had questionable cleaning skills. I have scrubbed that thing with all sorts of usual suspects without luck. SO with friends arriving to my new house shortly and just a pumice stone in hand I gave it a try. Within minutes my toilet looked NEW. This may be the best quick tip I've ever found online. I agree with the comment above that recommends finding another campy magazine about the same size - alla 1980s YM? Then frame together side by side. It would be best if it were something equally kitsch that you love and in the same color vibe. Celebrate its humor, put it in a classy frame, and voila! You not only have made your boyfriend happy you have added some of your personality to the wall! I had to to the same in my home with dreaded old concert posters! If you are renting it out and the renters arent appreciative of the sink than maybe take it out and put it in your own home or store for when the time is right. The last thing you need is to love it, keep it, and have a renter destroy it. Should We Keep this Vintage Sink in Updated Kitchen? Good Questions |

Oh Please! Such squares commenting with condescending tone. Life is for LIVING. Its SPAIN the author wants to move to not Antarctica! By all means pick up and move out. Adventure awaits. The only guarantees in life we have are that we can land on our own two feet. Nothing tests this more than moving someplace you've never been. Its exhilarating. Guess what.. if you hate it.. this reminds me of a fascinating book i have... "the artist in his studio" as an artist myself i think about how my environment impacts my creativity and visa versa - someone should do a follow up to this old book - and maybe make it more politically correct... I also *loved* that bed and am super bummed to hear its discontinued. I had hoped to buy it one day. Guess I'll save that image you posted for the future to have it custom built. WAY too expensive. seriously if you are renting (like i am) chances are you dont want to spent $800 to change the color of a wall. put that in the bank to save and try to buy one day. Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Casart Wallcoverings: When Painting's Not An Option |

I purchased an entry table from Target. The piece was really affordable, the perfect size, and has a modern clean look. Only issue is that it has two drawers and one does not sit as deep as the other when its shut (off by about 8mm - yes I notice that) BUT for the price (and an issue that most other people would never notice) it was a great purchase. It has been strong and sturdy I've been really happy with my purchase. The catch all drawers however imperfect the line up work like a dream. I too was convinced by the fantastic return policy at the time and fortunately never had to. Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Experience with Beds from Target? Good Questions |
