I second the electric mattress pad option. They make them with dual zones so you can each set the temperature for your side of the bed.

Audiovox has a great indoor/outdoor wireless speaker that I use almost daily. Hooked up to my computer, I use my iPhone to control itunes and therefore the speaker.

Yes, you can definitely do this. I haven't yet completed my project (mainly because Ikea dropped the door line I wanted and I haven't found a suitable replacement) but there are pictures of my test door here.

I bought the hinges from Rockler. The only caveat was that I needed to buy a different set that allowed you to adjust the gap a bit. Apparently either that test door or, more likely, the face frame wasn't completely true.

Definitely! www.monoprice.com is my favorite for some off-brand but very usable accessories. I bought a car charger, wall charger, and retractable usb-charger for my iPhone through them. None more than $4. The first wall charger went dead pretty quickly, I filled out the form on their website and they promptly sent a new one.
