I was once told by a very cash-savvy person, never to pay more for [your portion of] rent than you bring home in a week. I've had my Nikkala sofa for about 5 years now, and I discovered www.bemz.com a few years back also, shortly after learning that the sofa (and slipcovers) had been discontinued by Ikea. Back then, I assumed the ridiculous prices that Bemz charged were only an indication that the website and their products were a welcomed novelty. I figured it might take a year or so for the company to start posting more reasonable prices - after all, they ARE marketing to budget-concious IKEA customers - but no such luck.
