My oldest switched to a twin a age 3 when the toddler bed was converted back into a crib for his brother. Now his brother is approaching 3, and I plan to keep him in the toddler bed as long as possible because it takes up so much less space in his room. We'll see how long it lasts based on his height.

Expensive but fabulous. And I'm not a pink type of girl either. Beautiful- but what else would you expect from Sissy + Marley?!

The Maclaren Moderne is very similar--lightly different slats and the sides are solid instead.

Ours are gifts too. We have a terribly noisy lawnmower that plays music. My 2yo has had it for a year now and he still plays with it. The toys stay in the house until they aren't played with anymore and then they are easily donated.

I've always loved that decoylab clock too.

We did no gift- only donations last year (requested on the invitation last year) and donated what the kids got to Toys for Tots. They got to keep what their grandparents got or what the picked with gift certificates. But the donation request was highly controversial. I got a lot of confused calls about it. It seemed to make a lot of people uncomfortable. We won't be doing that again, but we will be sure to donate anything that the kids aren't going to really enjoy (secretly).

Two kids- One stroller! The Bugaboo Frog may have been pricey, but it's seems better than buying multiple strollers. When #2 came along, we got the roller board accessory for him to stand on. Works when we need to get everyone moving and then the rest of the time he walks. No regrets. It works for us.
