I thought the point of headphones was that you don't disturb the people around you... It drives me mental when I sit on the tram/bus/train and hear someone's music from three seats away! They'll be deaf by the time they're 30 -not that I care- but more to the point... don't they realize that not everybody likes their music!! My bedroom is precisely like this and have thought about putting my bed under the slanted roof... Right now, it's positioned, as it were, under the window (in my case I don't have that window, but a skylight in the roof). I've always wondered if a bed under a slanted roof was/is bad fen shui. There are also supportive beams which would "cut off" my feet, if I were to put my bed under the slanted roof... Just wondering... Eventhough I live in Belgium, I buy soooo much stuff on Etsy and I know that's not particularly eco-friendly (having everything sent by plane doesn't do much to reduce my carbon footprint, I know!). See, I have a terrace that is very very exposed and have been looking for something to make it a little more private, as well as cut the wind a little. I put up something like the Ikea sun/windshield, but only on one side. The problems is that these things also produce shadows and I want to sit in the sun!
