I have one every year. I just cover a swiss roll in chocolate buttercream icing and sprinkle some sugar over the top for the snow. I think I'll make my own swiss roll this year too (I do always cheat and buy the swiss roll).

Personally, I always take at least spare underwear in my hand luggage. I will never forget the time the airline misplaced my luggage and it had the contents of my entire wardrobe in it. It arrived three days later, but wearing the exact same clothes for three days is not great.

Love the DVD storage, it looks amazing.

@MonkeyMomma, I've seen the fabric to make the Hungry Caterpillar quilts but never the completed thing. It seems to be a Makower fabric (I think it's a British company). You can definitely buy the fabrics here: http://www.cottonpatch.co.uk/acatalog/Very_Hungry_Caterpillar.html
but they seem to be out of the complete kit at the moment. There's probably a US company that would stock it too.

I have the cabinets in 3 too! Mine have a wood effect countertop. It could easily have been a UK kitchen except that the kitchens that tend to be big enough for a fridge that size wouldn't be likely to have those cabinets.

I absolutely love the colours - the yellow is so sunny and happy. I miss having furniture that colour in my own room. It looks amazing with that quilt too!

My bedroom is yellow and teal with lots of white. I have a whole wall of glossy white wardrobes. I love it. Its so sunny and happy.

I kind of agree with Max. In my experience, people who writes these notes are incredibly irritating. I once spent a whole afternoon cleaning a shared apartment. My pasta sauce rose over the top of the bowl I was using in the microwave and I didn't clean it up because it was super hot. One of my roommates then stuck a post-it on my door and the microwave asking me to clean it. I didn't out of spite. She never cleaned a damn thing and left her crap everywhere.

Also, the driveway one would be more funny had someone not parked over 2 feet of my driveway yesterday as I was getting in my car to leave. I could barely get out and had to go the opposite way to the way I wanted and the person who parked just sat there looking at me struggle. $85 seems a bit steep, but maybe it wasn't a one-off thing that they parked badly.

I did this for a garden party a couple of summers ago and it was lovely. I like that they've used more jars as glasses too.

For what its worth, plane crashes (particularly for small aircraft like the one this desk looks to be made of) happen surprisingly often - not that I'm trying to make light of a terrible accident.

I think it looks awesome but I probably wouldn't want to own one. Could you image trying to clean inside the wing? And if you didn't it would get so dusty.
