I really tried to get on this bandwagon as they are lovely. I have used them in multiple projects however, with mostly horrible results. The FLOR tiles are fine and stay seamless when running wall-to-wall. Area rugs or runners SEPARATE and look trashy and 'buck-toothy' within a few months as the adhesive squares FLOR provides are not adequate to keep the tiles together leaving gaps EVERYWHERE. My clients are forced to replace these with actual RUGS as the only other solution is to reapply new adhesive squares constantly. If you are considering FLOR HEED MY WARNING! Same situation here as above posts. I too sat too close for too long resulting in eyestrain, headaches, and now bifocals at 30. As Kaviare stated, if you are getting a set of reading or "computer glasses" have your optometrist set them for your monitors distance. I had mine made for a full arms length (with fingers extended) so I always know my optimum viewing distance. Cheaper to move a monitor a few inches, then get new glasses when you get a new desk or change jobs. Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Survey: How Far Do You Sit From Your Monitor? |
