I recently saw on your post "Ways to Reduce Your Exposure to BPA" that we should look for unlined glass. Why is that? And are these ones featured above unlined?

Uma graça! Parabens!
Really cute! Love the red accent paint on the bathroom doorway!!! On the bedroom, though, don't you get annoyed seeing the sheets touching the floor?
Oh, forgot you might have a maid to sweep and mop that floor often.... I wish I could afford one :)

It all depends on where you are going, how long you're staying and what kind of trip it is...
On a trip to Indonesia and Thailand I managed to spend 50 days with the stuff I could fit in my backpack. Super hot weather tough.... bikinis, shorts, tank tops, flip flops... still took some medicine I could need, shampoo, deodorant and sunscreen.
But what if you're going to NY during the Fashion Week? One carry-on just for the shoes!!!! Imagine the rest...
Now I'm going to Brazil for 2 weeks.... the trip includes my birthday and a wedding at the beach... what will I take????

Hahaha... I love the: "Goodwill. Life's too short to look at ugly crap."
It also counts for ugly clothes...
I went to school for fashion, and people always tend to give me clothes for my birthday.... I get 9 out of 10 pieces that are not my style. That's why I'm asking my friends and family to bring a donation for a children orphanage on my next birthday... that way I don't have to pretend I like the gifts.... and also they can spend their money on people with real needs!

It reminds me of a picture I have from my dad on his first office. His desk was a door over piles of paint cans. After opening 3 other construction companies he still had that picture on his office.... humble although successful.

Lucky the person who owns this property. Not really for the architecture, but for the beauty of this place itself. Of course the idea of a floating house is awesome too!

Great idea for an Art Exhibit... to make us think about how many people are homeless, not only in the US but also in south america, africa and so on...

Unfortunately yes.... ikea/thrift store generation.
I would love to invest on things that last longer... but right now the money I have goes to rent, gas, food, and cheap furniture.... and of course, travelling!
