I use it in tuna salad, sprinkle on nachos, use it in tacos, sprinkle over chili, I make a recipe for Cuban black beans in the crockpot and serve over rice with some cheese and cilantro sprinkled on top. So many uses!

I'm also a beach lover and I'm getting ready to paint and decorate my bedroom and this is very similar to what I have in mind, even down to the bedding. Love it!

People commenting on the portion sizes have obviously never been on Weight Watchers. LOL Those portion sizes look normal to me now. Some of these gave me some good ideas for lunch since I've been getting kind of repetitive lately.

Thankfully my office keeps stocked on many different kinds of tea, so there is always something available. A lot of times I will drink tea to keep warm because it's always so cold in our office. My favorites right now are green tea with mint and chai tea. I have my own ceramic mug with lid to keep it warm. In fact, I was just about to go make some when I saw this post.

I bought my brand new construction house almost two years ago after renting for several years. I couldn't wait to own my own place so I could do whatever I wanted to it and all I've managed to do since I moved in is paint the dining room. I am having such a hard time deciding what I want. I'm full of all these good ideas but I just can't seem to settle on anything.

How about a simple room divider folding screen to put in front of them? it would be easy to just fold up and lean against a wall while loading and unloading the machines.

I live in Citrus Heights, but I work in Sacramento not far from where you live. It's nice to see a home from my area featured. Your place is really cute and it must be so nice to be able to walk everywhere.

I'd be lost without my food processor. I use it several times per week. I also agree with everyone who said a good set of knives. I finally invested in some good knives and it's amazing how much it has enhanced my enjoyment of cooking.

I was at a restaurant in Carmel, CA a few weeks back and they had the hand dryers in the bathroom. I hate air dryers, but I have to say that I was quite impressed by this one.

My dog has her own bed (actually two, one upstairs and one downstairs), but she is such a snuggler that sometimes when I go up early to read in bed I will let her snuggle with me.

I'm surprised to read that people are cutting and putting hot pots on their granite counters because I was told by the construction manager (I bought a new construction house) that you shouldn't do that.

I love my granite counters. I have rented a lot of places and even owned a few homes, but I have never had kitchen counters that I liked as much as my granite. Tile is horrible, formica is cheap looking to me. I do like butcher block counters, but have never had them personally.

Wow! I have several different colors of Rub-n-Buff that I use for craft projects, but I would have never thought of this application. I may have to try this somewhere in my house!

My mom (who is very old school and refuses to even get a cell phone) was visiting last weekend and she asked me where my phone book was. I laughed and pointed to my laptop. I really don't want to have to find a place to store that big bulky phone book. Even if my internet is down I have a smart phone for access to any information I need.

Wow, I can't believe everyone who is having a coronary over what is a temporary fix. I think it looks better than the ivy and from my prior years of renting I know what it's like to have to look at something every day that you find ugly. This is a good temporary fix until she can redo the whole kitchen. Relax, people!

Again I am at an advantage on this one, having moved fairly recently. I always purge a lot when I move and it's the perfect opportunity to clean out the medicine cabinet.
